We offer it packaged in parts or whole. PLEASE ORDER AS SOON AS YOU CAN if you have not already done so, so I can plan accordingly.

To order chicken - drop off, send us a deposit or use the paypal link above ($60.00 for each Non GMO set or $120.00 for each organic set)

Chicken Bulk Order Whole Non GMO Chickens (min of 6 chickens) $5.25/lb

Chicken Bulk Order Whole Organic Chickens (min of 12 chickens) $5.95/lb
Chicken Bulk Order In Parts Organic Chickens (min of 12 chickens) $6.95/lb

VEGGIE CSA
We have partnered with Middlebranch Farm in New Boston. They are a certified organic vegetable farm and they will be doing our vegetable CSA this year instead of us. They have been doing this many years and are a two generation farm family so you would be supporting another local family owned and operated farm.  We will still have vegetables but this will take some of the pressure off us. The pick up will be here on Monday afternoons (into the evening) much like we did last year but on a different day. If you would like to sign up, go to their website for all the details at www.middlebranchfarm.com and you can sign up through their website and select our site.

FLOWER CSA
Middlebranch also offers a flower CSA! It is a bi-weekly pickup. 6 bouquets over 12 weeks that some of you may be interested in.

PORK
Available NOW. We have every cut imaginable in the farm stand right now but a popular option is our ORGANIC PORK SAMPLER.The pork sampler is one of each prime cut that amounts to about 14-15 lbs for $9.00/lb. This provides a great savings when you get bacon for $9.00 instead of $12.00! You can mix and match if there is something you really want more of. This amount is very freezer friendly and allows you to try everything. Our pork does sell out, especially the bacon so please act soon if you are interested!

We hope to see you around the farm, we already have baby chicks and will have them all season long every two weeks along with piglets for your dose of cuteness :)

New Mobile Farm Stand & Partner Farms!

We were very warmly invited by ECCO Shoes in Londonderry to bring our products to them. We are there on Wednesdays from 11:30 - 1:30. Its a work in progress as the season ramps up but we decided to partner with our two favorite farms to provide more variety and exposure to the awesome organic farms right in our own area. We are stocking some beef products from STEVE NORMANTON GRASS-FED BEEF farm in Litchfield, NH. Orders for beef cuts can be made in advance and brought with us on our next delivery. We are also offering awesome dairy products from BENEDIKT DAIRY in Goffstown. We have raw milk (the real cream top deal!), yogurt, butter, fromage (cheese) - all in stock. Behind the scenes our partner farms are more than just products too. We support each other in buying feed in bulk, we share our equipment, transport livestock and products, share advice and so much more. Steve has also been an amazing mentor as we have embarked on new adventures. It is not easy to be a farming family in New Hampshire. So when you purchase local, not only are you reducing air emissions by trucking companies, purchasing healthy, flavorful food and supporting someone's local hard working farm, you are supporting the farming community who hold each other up! That is a grace! Thank you for your support!

Notice anything unusual besides our boar and sows in the background?

Certified Organic* Pasture Raised Chickens
A limited number of chickens for meat will be raised during the growing season. You can read about the quality of our chickens from reviews on Facebook and Yelp. We have decided to lower our price, not because we need to sell but because we are striving to make Organic meat more affordable for everyone.  Whole chickens $5.00/lb. averaging between 3 and 5 pounds will require a deposit of $10.00 each with the remaining due at pick up. Pre packaged chickens $6.00/lb must be purchased in 6 chicken increments and you will receive 6 packages of breasts (2 in each), and 2 packages of thighs, drumsticks, and wings (6 in each). Deposit for pre packaged chickens is $60.00 with the remaining due at pick up. Order now for June delivery.

*Our chickens are certified organic up until butchering. This means that they are pastured outdoors in the natural sunlight and moved daily. They are fed certified organic grain along with what they forage naturally. There are no certified organic butchers in all of New England (if you find one for poultry - let us know).Certified Organic butchering is required to ensure that there is no co-mingling of conventional meat with the organic meat. Since we are unable to secure a certified organic butcher, we use our tried and true butcher who has been putting our birds first on the line to also ensure no co-mingling however we can not call them "certified organic" on the label.

Certified Organic* - Side of pork
1/2 of a pig will yield about 70 pounds of actual cuts. There are other wonderful pieces of pork such as ham hocks or fat that are available in addition to the cuts which is included in the hanging weight. Our pigs are certified organic up until the point of butchering. Certified Organic butchering is available for an additional $75.00 charge. Smoking bacon and hams along with sausage will incur additional charges. The base price without any add-ons is $5.50 lb hanging weight and most sides will be around 100 lbs. Order now for delivery in April (almost sold out - order fast!) or May.

Getting ready for spring!

While outside things are still getting buttoned up for the winter, inside we are getting ready for next season. We have been making gallons of Apple Cider Vinegar from our own organic apples - and I must say, the best apples ever! We hope to have a long line of gluten free items such as this vinegar.

Wally has been waiting all summer for this moment... he planted, tended, harvested, dried and here he is preparing his long awaited organic popcorn - and boy was it worth the wait!  So very tasty indeed!  He has promised to grow a much bigger field next year as it was well worth all the work. With any luck we will still have some in the spring to sell, that is, if it hasn't been all eaten by then...

PS if anyone would like our organic free range eggs, just ring the doorbell, the girls are still going strong this time of year!

Organic Non GMO Vegetables, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) for the 2014 Season

We offer over 60 varieties of mainstream vegetables in shares over the 2014 season.  A share will feed a family of 4+ generously. ½ shares for smaller families as well as ½ shares to add on for larger families are also available for ½ price.  Our main 12 week share is $500.00 and will be available from July through the end of Sept. An earlier 8 week share is also available for $300 but packages will be lighter.

  • Each family will fill out a form stating what you really like and really don’t like so that we can plan and pack favorably.
  • Beginning in July, you will be notified when packages will be ready and shares will be available for pickup between Thursday and Saturday with other arrangements made available when needed.  All unclaimed packages will be donated to the food pantry on Monday mornings and there will be no refunds or credits for that week.
  • Packages will contain on average of 10 or more different items (weather and pest conditions apply). TFO will provide recipes and storing tips to help you make the most of your package.  *Please note that packages will be lighter at the beginning of the season, this is normal. Please see this link about CSAs to know more http://www.localharvest.org/csa/tips.jsp  about CSAs.
